MICE tourism is an important segment in the development of a marketing plan for the destinations, it is considered a relevant element to promote the destination internationally. Business tourism has a budget which is estimated between two and three times the budget of the leisure tourism. There is an increasing trend to include more leisure time during business tourism, therefore there is a development of ‘Bleisure tourism’ which includes both Busi-ness and Leisure. This trend represents a significant opportunity for the tourism sector because Bleisure tourists have an increase in budget for extra activities. The hotels have begun an active process of cooperation with local businesses to satisfy potential clients within Bleisure tourism
