To be more precise, this Critical Note tries to offer in a single perspective, both the more recent theoretical developments and the empirical researches. The article is organized in four parts: the first and second part refers to comparative methods and its use applied to Political communication. The third part discusses a categorization proposal for comparative political communication studies. Finally, last section shows three models of journalism specified by Hallin and Mancini.
