The aim of the considerations is to draw an outline of legal conception of agrotourism, the expression of which are the proposals de lege ferenda formulated in the paper. To meet this purpose the authoress points poor aspects of binding legal solutions and formulates some proposals of their improvement. Italian regulation constituted the reference point for the evaluation and for proposals of modifications. The authoress postulates introduction of a legal definition of agro-tourism and a broad definition of an agricultural activity that would extend upon agrotourism and other non agricultural activities exercised by the same agricultural entrepreneur in respect of connection criteria to the agricultural activity. It is also required a modification of regulations concerning a direct sale of processed products in agricultural farms and a legal protection of indication "agro-tourism", as well as incorporation of the many regulations, dispersed in different acts, into one statue (the law of agro-tourism).
