The planning and implementation processes of marketing actions, aiming at preserving and increasing the attractiveness of a destination, can be affected by problems related to an ineffective interaction among the different suppliers This paper, based on a previous research study conducted in the area of Sanremo, aims at analyzing the relationships among the policy-makers and the more relevant stakeholders. The analysis, based on a theoretical framework which underlines the characteristics of Destination Marketing, points out some of the determinants of these problems.
