The paper aims to dig deeper in the women entrepreneurship in the wine industry. On the ground of a phenomenon-based approach, the study moves from the consideration that more and more women have been involved analyzing the management of wine firms. The analysis and comparison of three case studies drawn from Sicilian context allow to advance some theoretical and managerial implications concerning drivers and features of women entrepreneurship, and the link between women entrepreneurship and territorial embeddedness.
