The article deals with the outcomes of the encounter between art, architecture, urban and social disciplines in sensitive areas linked to primary needs of protection or care. Over the last few decades the cases of close interaction among these spheres have multiplied. For art, the contextual approach that characterizes today’s artistic research and the awareness that research has always been nourished by themes and urgencies taken from the context are decisive. The other disciplinary fields look to the art in an attempt to escape from known paths and to the rigidity of established and predictable practices, and to identify new possible evolutions and solutions of the problems. The topic is exemplified through projects of a permanent and integrated nature, capable of introducing the issue of a renewed liveability. Keywords: project; interaction; liveability

Keywords: Progetto; collaborazione; vivibilità
