What is transdisciplinarity and what challenge does transdisciplinarity offer to ways and forms we build the knowledge of the reality? Reflecting on contribu-tions to this issue of our magazine and to previous one, the authors realized that, inside a common understanding of the necessity of a connected knowledge, dif-ferent interpretations of the dialogue among disciplines coexist. Starting from the finding of a line of continuity among disciplinarity, multidisciplinarity, interdis-ciplinarity, transdisciplinarity, a range of worthy questions is raising: relation-ship seen as not only social behaviour but also as a structural characteristic of macro and microphysical reality; the unavoidable reference to complexity not just of reality but particularly of the way we deal and know the reality; challeng-es, uncertainties and limits of transdisciplinary exploration, that questions most bases of our relationship with perceivable reality.
