Problematiche psicologiche del paziente cardiopatico e proposta di una esperienza di collaborazione clinica - Psychological problems in the cardiac patient and experience proposal about a clinical collaboration This paper presents our experience on psychological assistance to cardiac patients. We consider the complexity of suffering during the different phases characterizing hospital permanence and homecoming: sharp phase presenting hemodynamic instability; remission phase of painful symptoms and hemodynamic stability; resignation as exiting the place of care and regaining of social and family roles. The methodology of intervention changes on the basis of the specific situation of the patient. This work particularly focuses on: psychological dimension of cardiopathic patients, psychological intervention in cardiac department and turn-examination in Intensive Coronary Therapy Unite (UTIC) in collaboration with all its heart specialists, the contribution of the psychologists to the Integrate Management Territory Hospital Project (GIOTTO) and to the Cuore Project, a secondary prevention project in acute myocardial infarction.
