Bullying prevention: an explorative study on risk indicators in Palermo - The explorative study was carried out within an awareness experience related to activities conducted within the Bullying Regional Permanent Center. The purpose was to evaluate the way teachers and parents perceive bullying risk indicators and ways of intervention. The subjects involved were 208 teachers and 43 parents in the provinces of Palermo and Trapani; the first ones were given the Buccoliero and Maggi Questionnaire (2005) and to the second ones Bullying Risk Questionnaire (Fedeli, 2007). The results show that teachers perceive the positive school climate, although they denounce the presence of violent acts, they are unable to face. Parents, however, have difficulty in recognizing the indicators of risk in their children.
