The article presents the results of a research on secondary school in Emilia Romagna and addresses the issue of early school dropout. The data concern, in particular, the type of resources used by the schools, their tools and objectives, the work carried out online, and the expectations of the schools. The article analyses the results on a regional level but also offers an outline of the situation in each province of Emilia Romagna. It identifies good practices and covers certain issues like the common need for a more systematic approach to assessing the measures implemented.
