The candy girl are girls among 12 and 17 years thatput online theirs nude photos (sexting) in exchange for designer clothes, phone or paycard recharges. It’s a Cyber teenage phenomenon that is spreading rapidly in Italy. Candy girl seek profiles of peers and particularly adults (grooming). The photos, once shared online, it becomes publicly available and it’s not more possible to manage , to recover or to definitely eliminate them. In this way the reputation of the young will be exposed to the social and mediatic judgment. Her image will be ridiculed and belittled, becoming a scandal’sobject. The research-action aims to investigate - through a sample of 243 subjects among 12 and 17 years, of which 136 females and 107 males - the use of internet and the socialnetwork among the young people involved; to explore possible risks cases, especially on the phenomenon of candy girl; to understand the main reasons psycho pedagogical; involve stakeholders in prevention, promotion and coping strategies and empowerment.
