Governance structures and democratization processes caused "participation", that is the opening of policy-process to citizens. Soon people spoke of negotiation, to indicate the active involvement of stakeholders in decision- process, for consulting or deliberative aims. Evaluation too opened itself towards stakeholder, underlining the importance of intersubjectivity and debate to formulate and analyse one contextual placed measure. Author’s aim is to figure out benefits and limits of a participated evaluation realized in a negotiated decision-process; that is, to reflect about the hypothesis that an extended participating experience from decision-process to evaluation-process might help analysis of the single experience, but also a widespread diffusion of evaluation culture and outcomes. The approach of participated evaluation presents some overlapping points with participated democracy, so the author want to define these points, in the form of method criteria to project the decisional and evaluative participated designs. Thanking to this, it will be possible reflect about stakeholder participation at one process, political and evaluative at the same time, like an action of complexity reduction.
