The work aims at confirming the hypothesis that the public owned Italian TV broadcasting had even the goal to support the farmers’ training, at least to the end of the sixties of the past century. For this purpose traced evidence from Rai (Italian State TV) digital archives have been collected and compared with the evolution of the Italian agricultural policy. Findings are that the Christian Democrats supported their effort, even using the TV broadcasting, to transform the working class into an entrepreneurial class and not just a class of land owners, after the Agrarian Reform. This support in training skills of farmers ended at the beginning of the seventies, when the Italian social situation was completely different also in rural areas, and the Cap ended its transitional period. Afterward, the Italian TV started to show problems of farmers in implementing the Cap to common audience, reversing its educational mission.
