Research on psychiatric drugs is nowadays somewhat controversial. Along with the data on the effectiveness of psychiatric drugs, produced by clinical trials, and the constant increase in the use of medications, there is also contradictory research data produced by real-world studies and research data questioning the effective clinical relevance of drugs compared to placebo. No doubt many variables come into play in this complex field of research. Nonetheless, in order to promote a different and more reflective attitude in clinical practice, the author suggests focusing on some key-aspects. *
