Multiple sclerosis, an inflammatory demyelinating disease with a chronic course, causes strong negative psychological feelings and the unpredictability of symptoms makes it a disabling disease. An research-intervention has been carried out with the aim to analyze the development of the health conditions in women with multiple sclerosis and to determine the role of psychosocial variables as supporting factors. The preliminary analysis of the data highlights the importance of coping strategies in the disease management.
