By this brief note, the author commemorates prof. Morris L. Ghezzi, referring especially to his very last writings, contained in a book appeared a few months after his untimely death in 2017 (Ciò che resta. La rivoluzione del diritto come estetica). In his last years, bringing ethics and aesthetics to converge into the same conceptual sphere of ‘like’ and ‘dislike’, Ghezzi insisted on the "aesthetic" nature of law, in a relativistic and nihilistic stance that from the realm of law came to extend into that of life and its doubtful significance.
