The past modern family in front of a new scenarios and a new challenges - this paper the author proposes a reflection about social and psychological changes intervened in the last few years she starts from the observations of the changes in the requests which the young people and their families ask the mental health service of a peripheral zone of Rome in which she has worked for a number of years.
