In this age during which neurosciences are de_ ning a new way in psychiatry, what brought us to formulate the questions of this interview is the thought that the brain, organ of mind, isn’t the one and only _ eld to explore in order to _ nd the legitimacy and the raison d’être of every human display. Every human experience can be distorted, both in pathology and in the so-called normality, but this can not be reduced, in our view, into a simple expression of the brain. Just like Gross and Huber believed almost twenty years ago, we began by wondering: "Does Psychiatry still need psychopathology?" Therefore, we asked this and other questions to Professor Eugenio Borgna, who pointed out evolutions and involutions of psychiatry after Basaglia illustrating perspectives and expectations.
Keywords: Adolescence, body image, latency period, parental figures.
