This work describes the process of caring for a group of immigrants at Ser.T. Most of them are from Ecuador and range between 20 and 35 years of age, and they all have drug addiction problems. In describing the development of this therapeutic path, the authors aim to underline the meanings that consumption and drug dealing acquire for these young people, starting from the difficult life conditions of immigrants in our society. This analysis leads us to consider psychopathological difficulties with particular attention to the political world, trying to correlate them with social, political and economic dimensions which constitute the existential realms where these young people struggle to build their life.
