Authors’s aim, in this work, is to define first some of possible "observation points" that are the different "lens" of multifocal vision, staying, in their opinion, at the base of diagnostic process in systemic relational approach. Families interactive styles and narrative styles are thought as early parts of family world therapist enters in connection with. As to these first two axes of diagnostic process, importance of evaluating therapist’s position and his contribution to styles building is stressed. Autors shift the attention then toward an evolutive perspective for diagnostic process, just as a longitudinal axis, suggesting depth and development as basic elements for knowing the others and the current relationship. Finally, a connection between the foregoing statements and ‘personality profiles’ is proposed, as these are considered as structures ‘holding together’ individual representative universe, co-created and co-evolved inside the relational context.
