The essay focuses on the link between safety training and organizational dimension as field in which to compare peculiar ways to exercise work relationships. The first part of the paper depicts the main features of the composite world of training in the field of safety at work. Then it focuses on the different ways of conceiving the relationship between knowledge and organization in the different ways to exercise the training on safety in economic organizations. In particular, it describes the main features of cultural and social perspective to organizational learning issue. Finally, in light of the conceptual framework outlined it presents the findings of a research experience to explore the meaning of situated practices of safety training and how they contribute to shaping the relationship between work and security.
