The paper analyses the development of diversity management practices inside organisations and their potential contribution in the strengthening of firms’ competitive advantage. In the first part, the paper discusses some practices emerging from the field and their contribution in creating value, both tangible and intangible. In the second part, it examines some links between new priorities in organizational strategies and learning outcomes connected to the domain of diversity management, which can help in maintaining and growing competitive advantage in a global scenario.
