We head out on a journey around the internal and external Luca’s world, accompanied by the author. We draw some ideas to develop further reflection. The structure of the family’s tableau leads back to the Milan Approach; the Luca’s defensive devices lead back to the interpersonal theory of Lorna Benjamin. The course of treatment proposed, comfort us because of the possibility offered to the patient, to fill in the gap between percept and symptom with reflection. In that space there was an eluded "inexpressible desire".
