Il Villaggio Barona (Milano) e il Villaggio Solidale (Mirano) rappresentano sperimentazioni di co-social housing che, attraverso network strategies, promuovono la formazione di reti di mutuo-aiuto tra gli abitanti, favorendo l’inserimento anche di soggetti in "stato di necessità". In questo senso il co-social housing, secondo alcuni principi desunti dal cohousing, intende incoraggiare l’incontro tra i "vicini" favorendo insieme la formazione di bridging e bonding social capital.;
