In this article the authors want to re-examine the work that the Family Gender Team of Turin has made with families of adolescents who suffer from gender disphoria since 2008. The aim of the experience is to help families to understand and help its son/daughter to face a particular evolutive event in a critic moment of the family life circle, as adolescence is. Three clinic cases are presented as an example to propose reflections about the little known and complex clinical records. The authors focus on short and long term objectives and open issues in the therapy.
