Presentiamo, in questo articolo, le evidenze attualmente disponibili per la terapia sistemica della coppia e della famiglia (TSCF). Viene riportato un gran numero di meta-analisi e di revisioni sistematiche recenti, che portano tutte a delle conclusioni largamente positive sull’efficacia generale di questo approccio. Vengono poi individuate 72 condizioni per le quali sono state condotte ricerche sulla TSCF. Questi lavori dimostrano l’efficacia sperimentale e, in alcuni casi, l’efficacia clinica, nelle condizioni per le quali sono stati pubblicati dei dati significativi. Ci sono però molte aree in cui le ricerche pubblicate non permettono di arrivare a delle conclusioni. La revisione delle ricerche dimostra che la TSCF è efficace, soddisfacente per i clienti, ed ha un buon rapporto costi-benefici per un numero di condizioni tale da garantire che la sua diffusione nella pratica clinica sia giustificata e possa anche estendersi. .;
