The commission of a crime by a minor is a critical event stemming from specific motivations in the boy and imposing particular reactions to his family: from his clinical experience the author proposes an original classification of both Individual motives at the base of the criminal act and possible family reactions. In addition, considering the already noted difficulties encountered in psychological work with these young people, it proposes a methodology of intervention that strategically redefines the rules of privacy management about the content of the talks, the consideration of the client and the use of the instrumentalities of the patient in therapy.
