The paper analyses the topic of wages/remunerations and its position in the current sci-entific debate. In particular, we focus on the function of wages/remunerations according to the concept of "right measure" and on the capacity to ensure a dignified life: in this perspec-tive, the theme is intertwined with that of the minimum wage, that is with the possibility that the correct remuneration is legally determined. The analysis then refers to the hypothetical relationships between collective bargaining and the law, trying to hypothesize a synergy be-tween sources (in a formal and substantial sense).
