This paper reports on a model of interacting education and information pioneered since 2016 in Piedmont. Under the coordination of the Piedmont Region, various institutional actors were involved: the équipes for adoption, the regional health care centers for children adopted abroad, and the Juvenile Court. The experiment involved meetings focusing on the health problems of special-needs children who are to be adopted. The couples who volunteered for adoption valued the experience positively, thus we propose this model as a possible good-practice.
