The Web has become a frame of re-socialization of the productive sphere: paradoxically everyone have a job, everyone can work, playing between ego and alter. Internet rhetoric insists on gratuity, sharing, produsage. In the Net we assist at a ri-semantization of work, through ethical emphasis on gift and reputation models. There is a perceived value of bond that tries to compensate for economic loss, but the risk of exploitation is always lurking. Our research question is: What is gratuity in Internet work and Why it seems to be so distinct from internship, apprenticeships, and other free tools in industrial work? Starting from a qualitative analysis, our reflection will be developed on an interdisciplinary approach: sociological and philosophical.
