Modern school has duties that must be shared with families without conflict. School must filter and interconnect multiple, heterogeneous and contrasting experiences. It is therefore necessary that teachers and parents confront the sphere of educational relationships and reflect upon their educational style. They must assume a greater awareness of the importance of listening and bringing themselves into question, in order to help their children/pupils see themselves and others as multiple identities. But some resistance is still present in society, school institutions and families, allowing traditional educational behaviours to survive. This often happens due to a certain rigidity and a widespread ignorance of the real needs of children and teenagers. It is important that families and teachers at least partly share the difficult educational/parental role which unites them, and that they foster the development of a maieutic dialogue among young people, and between them and others. Fairy-tale dramatization is a powerful tool that can help teachers get in touch with pupils, build self-knowledge within them and assist them in sharing emotions with others in the difficult stage of growth from childhood to adolescence. Key words: parents, school, fairy-tale.
