The interview with Gianluca Bocchi tackles the phenomena that have marked the coming of the knowledge society. He emphasises an interpretation that allows us to get away from a simplistic representation of the dynamics of transformation. This makes it necessary to revise the consolidated frame, keeping a distance from categories of mere possession and privatization of knowledge. Concepts such as reflexivity, enactment, creativity, are used in order to describe learning processes in contemporary societies. It is also necessary to conceive training as life long learning emphasising the partecipation of actors not sufficiently involved at the moment (i.e. economic actors such as enterprises).

Keywords: Work, knowledge society, lifelong learning, reflexivity
