This article analyzes the role and effects of the imagination of young people who aspire to migration from Morocco. Belonging to popular social strata and residents in the suburbs of Casablanca, the focus is on boys living in economic and social conditions of marginality in their original contexts and attempt illegal or irregular migration to Europe. Their daily practices and their visions of Europe are compared with those of generations of migrants to their previous, from which they absorbed experiences and stories, but reinterpreting to the light of an international legal and political environment profoundly changed in recent decades. Through the ethnographic method is investigated how this generation of young people construct, through learning networks and autonomous collective experience, new routes and migratory strategies and projections of himself and elsewhere functional to the liberation from social stigmas from which they feel marked.
