One major argument of neo-liberal thinking is that the market is a better institution for creating a higher level of common welfare than state interventions or regulations. European politics measures - determined by this ideology - encourage governments to promote and enterprises to engage in corporate social responsibility (Csr) and corporate citizenships (Cc) initiatives because these are seen as suitable instruments to improve work and living conditions. In this article it is demonstrated by the results of own research and evidence based data analysis that the output of these politics often result in an intensified participation of enterprises in Csr and Cc predominantly for Pr or public affair activities, while the real outcomes of neo-liberal politics and business strategies cause a growth of unemployment, precarious jobs, intensified work ("getting more from less") or even trafficking along the word wide work benches.
