The article describes the project "DiversaMente", built by ULSS 16, Department of Mental Health which aims at mental health promotion, at primary prevention of mental illness and at fighting the stigma associated with mental illness. The authors expose, in particular, one of the initiatives that compose the project: the proposal in secondary schools of Padua. They describe in detail the specific objectives, the tools used, the phases and the methods of implementation. They also show the data collected through a questionnaire, which highlighted their target’s point of view on mental illness and health. Finally the authors report the strategies adopted with the students in order to broaden the knowledge of the topic.
