The contribute, following a paradigmatic perspective, intends to analyze the possibilities of declination of the dialogue between psychology and medicine, through the discussion of some models of psychological intervention to support the healthcare relationship. The issue is in line with a change of perspective that is crossing the medical field and that has seen a new interest in the relationship doctor-patient, as the main instrument and aim for the healthcare professional activity. The constant element of the work is its focalization on the relationship; all the models and the perspectives analyzed move in the attempt to establish a dialogue that may connect the different protagonists of the healthcare praxis. The contribute proposes the hypothesis of a psychology at the service of the healthcare relationship and of its functionality, and that moves towards the building of an integrative view, towards a new direct collaboration, sometimes also joined, between medical and psychological professionality.
