In this essay, analyzing some aspects of the journal Nuovi Doveri, the authoress tries to demonstrate the meaning of new idealistic pedagogy, represented basically by the Giovanni Gentile’s and Giuseppe Lombardo Radice’s thought, which has not only been an abstract philosophy of the spirit, but it is a theory which tried to solve some concrete problems as the training of teachers and the concept of the secular school.
