Authorship, not only as a synonym for architectural quality, but also as a capability of adaptation and modification, due to the arrival of new needs and new functions. Resilience as the capability of an artefact to respond to the needs of historical, spatial and functional transformations. Sometimes, authorship and resilience coexist within a single architectural work. The building is thought as an organism, subject to one or more life cycles, which grows, changes and deteriorates. Some industrial buildings have already partially undergone a recovery or reuse process, while numerous others still await a revitalization. It is essential to put in the artefact a function that is placed in continuity with the original principles of the work and which can enhance its architectural aspects.
Keywords: Industrial recovery; authorship; resilience
