This paper presents the results of an online survey among teachers from primary to high school on the topic of distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Survey on Dis-tance Learning was conducted at national level, through an online questionnaire, CAWI tech-nique, from the 3rd of April to the 7th of May 2020, collecting 1197 valid questionnaires. The analysis investigates the role of school contexts in determining the impacts both on teach-ers’ working conditions and on the students’ inequalities to affirm their right to education. In particular, the following factors are considered: role of the teachers’ participation, training and technological tools. The survey has been promoted by Flc-Cgil (Federation of Knowledge Workers) and realized in collaboration with Fondazione Giuseppe Di Vittorio, Università di Teramo, Laboratorio LO-Lavoro e organizzazioni del Dipartimento di Scienze sociali ed economiche dell’Università degli studi di Roma «La Sapienza».
