The period of health emergency forced the mental health professionals, especially in the first period, to use telemedicine tools to deal with the impossibility of having a relationship in the presence. However, this period of crisis has also provided the opportunity to review some intervention models and to verify the introduction of Telemedicine within the existing clinical care pathways. The article aims to address the inclusion of this innovative method in Mental Health Services by highlighting its characteristics, specificities, limits and advantages in order to open the possibility to paths that provide for a "hybridization" of interventions and that consider Telemedicine as an additional tool provided to the mental health professionals for an overall improvement of the treatment pathways.
