The paper proposes a case study about integration of focus group and survey to listen teenagers and preteens in the participatory evaluation of a local educational project. The contribution discusses strengths and weaknesses of the focus group as a participatory instrument in the evaluation process and the integration with the survey. Furthermore, the authors reflect about pos-sible ways to enhance the approach, starting from the Youth Participa-tory Evaluation model and focusing on the role of teenagers in differ-ent evaluation stages.
