This article reflects on the welcoming experience of refugee students in the so-called «university corridors» in order to improve the best practices repository. To that end, it describes how the tutor families act according to the project provisions formalized trough a memorandum of understanding among various partners, demonstrating its three main functions: socialization to contexts and learning (formal and informal rules, rituals); mediation with native people and relational contact. The point of view is that of the social referents into a spe-cific inclusion experience. The focus is on the strategies as well as on the skills used to lead a welcoming path characterized by autonomy, protection, and exercise of refugee rights.
