The essay analyses the peculiar effects that the customer’s condition of vulnerability generates within regulated markets. The subjective conditions that lead to accentuating the customer’s position of genetic weakness towards his counterpart generate not only the need to identify rules that provide for greater protection of the vulnerable subject but, above all, provisions that avoid their exclusion from the market. It is underlined, in fact, that vulnerable customers tend to be considered ‘bad customers’ and, as such, find it extremely difficult to access the services offered by those markets.
