Il cibo tra salute e cultura Tavola rotonda con: Riccardo Dalle grave, Antonio Guerci, Caterina Renna - The article deals with the theme of bulimia in a psycho-social view. We examine the changes of life-style in post-modern society, where eating disorders take the characteristics of an ethnic disorder that exasperates behaviours largely appearing in the normal context of life. Bulimia takes the characteristics of a metaphor of the liquid-modern society. Moreover, we consider the thinking process by which the social view is linked to the mental dynamic of the eating disorder. The relationship between food and the body is considered as a personal experience and in its personal and social representation. We examine the disorders connected to metaphoric thought and to abstract thought regarding the process of mentalisation. The concept of concretised metaphor is connected to the thought disorders of bulimia nervosa.
Key-words: bulimia nervosa, liquid-modern society, concretised metaphor, embodiment, mentalisation, health.
Parole-chiave: bulimia nervosa, società liquido-moderna, metafora concretizzata, incorporazione, mentalizzazione, salute.
Once reorganised by subject matter, the contributions of this service highlight a few contradictory aspects of the debate in progress on urban agriculture. The introduction provides three alternative keys to interpretation for this purpose. The fi rst reproduces the debate in its ‘sealed compartments’ and nevertheless attempts to compare, by juxtaposition, contrasting attitudes. The second aims at shedding light on a transverse conceptual dichotomy with strong repercussions for planning (urban agriculture as a remedy for city problems vs the urban countryside as a new urban plan). Finally, the third challenges the debate on the subject in the context of Milan.
On June 6, 1982 the Israeli Government, headed by Likud leader Menachem Begin, launched the operation “Peace in Galilee” with the aim of thwarting Palestinian resistance in Southern Lebanon and thus protecting Israel’s Northern border and towns. On the one hand, the operation evolved into a full scale war with the Israel Defense Forces surrounding Beirut already on June 14; on the other, it intertwined with the ongoing civil war that had seen the fragmentation of Lebanon’s social and political fabric already since 1976. This discussion addresses some of the international and domestic consequences of that invasion through questions and answers between Marcella Simoni and four experts of Lebanese history, politics and international relations, Rosita Di Peri, Daniel Meier, Francesco Mazzucotelli and Matteo Legrenzi.
In recent years there has been an interest, partly renewed but largely new, for the development of economic activities which deal, more or less directly, with the environment. Resisting the idea that the greening of the economy in our country (but not only in our country) mainly concerns the energy sector and more specifically the photovoltaic, it seems interesting to confront economic actors working in different product fields (from agriculture to informatics) with a common interest around "environmentally sound" labour practices. We asked to five small enterprises acting in the Marches region to debate around the ideas and practices of the new green economic sector.
