This article is about the outcomes of the empirical research, carried out along thirty years by the author and/or the research institutes he managed (Ires and Ipl) and by other authors and institutes, on the topic concerning labour and work changes. The issues analysed in the article are the work and labour changes at the macro-societal level and the transformation depending on the quality of work requested by the organisations involved in these research.
