Interventions on people that have faced a recent or a significant migra- tion represent a portion of implementation science where we need to integrate a deep know- ledge of existing guidelines with a specific understanding of the cultural background of such persons. On the one hand, we have to make our style and strategies flexible and adaptable; on the other hand, we have to bear in mind that each and every psychothe- rapy or counseling intervention must be grounded on a personalization principle. The aim of the present study is to define a theoretical framework for the development and application of cognitive interventions with people dealing with a potentially destabili- zing process of migration.
