This work does not fall under the traditional field study. It follows a scientific approach to interpret the connection between unstable business conditions and financing activities which are going to be carried out by management in order to correct volatility and reestablish operating stability. This condition is needed not only to understand the real motives behind equity transactions but also to determine if those financing activities are a reflection of sound management practices or indicative of reactive decision making.
