The regulation of state-owned maritime concessions for tourist-recreational use and the procedures relating to their assignment, represent a matter which, likewise our legal system, is particularly complex, as it involves aspects which do not quite match with European law and as it is characterized by a conspicuous production of domestic legislative and case law interventions that render the reconstruction of a unitary framework complex. The work analyzes some regulatory, administrative and case law interventions that have succeeded one after the other in our legal system and puts forward some reflections on the future developments.

Keywords: state-owned maritime concessions, european law, national jurisprudential decisions.
