In between saying and doing. A prospective analysis on action-research - The author, after having traced a brief historical excursus related to the action-research, illustrates some approaches that, today it is possible recognize in this type of orientation to the research. Even though different are the epistemological approaches and the finalities, these manifold forms of action-research share some common principles: they are cyclical processes, centered on the problem, directed to the action and based on collaboration and participation. The author finally sets some matters. Especially in the interventions of community, it is underlined as the participation constitutes a delicate aspect; particularly she makes reference to the necessity both of a negotiation of the conflict, both of interventions directed to sustain the motivation to the participation.
