Mobbing is a phenomenon that is being met by an extension of the concept of corporate responsibility, as this form of illicit behaviour leads to punishable consequences in terms of responsibility for a series of practices that share connotations of the intention to harass a member of staff. When the staff member is victimised by mobbing, (s)he may obtain redress for the loss of quality of life, corresponding both to the extent to which his/her working activity as a means of personal achievement has been compromised and to any repercussions on the quality of the victim’s life also outside the workplace. If the mobbing has also led to the development of some form of illness on the part of the victim, redress for the biological form of damage is also added to this.
